AT&T in home service is poor service

For my readers who live in the USA and have or thinking about getting AT&T phone service.

My mom is 76 years old she gets very little from SS.
I had to put her in a rest home back in oct of 3013. I help on to her apt tell jan 2014.
I started moving her things out and called at&t to have her phone service shut off they said it would be shut off in 3 days i said ok thanks. at that time her bill was $45.
I went back to her apt weeks later and found the phone still on so i called them back they said sorry i will fix it for you so i let it go and said ok.
by this time the bill went up due to fees and so on they said you will get a bill don't pay it call us and we will said you a final bill I thought that was dumb but i said ok. I get the final bill weeks later now the bill is $129 and because I would not pay it they sent it to collection. So this is how AT&T rip off old people.
very bad company to deal with.
